Hard Water Stains

Calcium and magnesium are the two primary minerals that cause hard water. If they are present in your water, you may get a white build-up on your glassware, shower doors, faucets, and sinks. Although it’s not a health issue, your soaps and detergents won’t lather, your clothes may look dingy, and your skin might feel like it has a residue after you bathe. Your bathtub, porcelain, and fixtures may have a ring or crusty build-up. Besides the build-up that you can see, the inside of your pipes may also have this problem, as well as the inside of your appliances. This build up can cause serious wear and tear on your appliances. Additionally, since hard water is more abrasive than soft water, minerals, over time, might etch your glass and reduce the life of your clothing.

To get the longest life out of your appliances, dishes, clothing and avoid replacing your plumbing prematurely, we recommend conditioning your water. We have 2 solutions: the 2500 Series and 3000 Series Water Conditioning Equipment. These solutions remove minerals from your water, helping to eliminate those bothersome hard water stains.
